| These days the younger generation, (that is | | | | |
| basically anyone under 30, seems to expect | | | | I want to be entertained NOW!, seems to be |
| that all you have to do in life to be | | | | their motto. From computers, to video games, |
| entertained is to push a button or press a | | | | from DVD's to movies to TV programmes on 300 |
| remote, and all your entertainment needs are | | | | odd channels in your own bedroom. Unless it's |
| met. | | | | available at a moment's notice it's to long |
| | | | to wait for it. |
| But what about the old fashioned | | | | |
| entertainments? Fishing, gardening, walking, | | | | Yet this generation is the one that we have |
| picnicking, BBQ's, swimming, bushwalking, | | | | helped bring into the world. So I guess the |
| keeping a pet or fish tank, feeding the birds | | | | blame has to sit at least partly with us |
| or other wild animals, playing a board or | | | | older people. The one's who can still |
| card game etc. It all seems to be lost to the | | | | remember doing these sorts of things before |
| younger generation. | | | | TV and video games were the norm. |
